Have your pupils ever wondered what trees, those silent green giants, are doing for us, noisy small humans?
It’s time to wear your wellies and waterproofs and join us at one of Birmingham’s secret gardens to find out!
ecobirmingham are offering your pupils the opportunity to engage in celebrating this year’s National Tree Week. We are delivering eight free workshops between 25th November – 29th November at Masefield Community Garden (Lindsey Avenue, Off Bunbury Road, B31 2DT) on a first come, first served basis.
Children will follow Mikku on his quest to find burning wood and learn more about the importance of trees in the process. Related craft activities will follow. We suggest a maximum of 20 children. The workshop will last 2 hours and can be delivered either am or pm.
At the end of the workshop schools will be offered a bunch of trees, including one apple tree, for their school grounds.
If you would like to book a free workshop call Anne on 0121 448 0119 or email email@example.com.
